Walking Dead Season 3 Preview Weekend
If you've got a zombie itch that you just can't wait till October to scratch, you may want to check out AMC's Walking Dead Season 3 Preview Weekend, ambling your way July 7-8. It will have a marathon of content, as you might expect, including these fun treats: the original pilot episod in black and white, every episode of the first two seasons of the show, and interviews with cast members. After all that, there will be a special edition of Talking Dead, hosted by Chris Hardwick, that will give an advance look at the third season.

Three lucky libraries will win a fantastic prize at this year's American Library Association's summer conference in Anaheim, California. The Will & Ann Eisner Foundation has announced a contest that will award libraries with $1,000 worth of Eisner Award-nominated books, $2,000 in a voucher to be used to buy more graphic books, and a $1,000 stipend on top of all that to go toward an event or signing featuring a graphic novel creator.
