TheBookReportNetwork.com Launches 20SomethingReads.com

On February 29th, TheBookReportNetwork.com launched the seventh addition to its network of editorial sites, 20SomethingReads.com, a book website for readers in their twenties.

20SomethingReads.com is for readers, writers, booksellers, librarians and twentysomething bibliophiles who are looking for suggestions of what to read as well as the opportunity to share their impressions of the books they're reading --- and the books they would suggest others to read as well. The editorial features a mix of reviews of adult fiction, nonfiction, young adult and graphic novel titles, along with features, interviews, blogs and contests.

“We created 20SomethingReads.com, because we saw a gap in the marketplace. This audience was being overlooked with targeted marketing and we thought that they would respond to a website curated specifically towards their reading habits,” says Carol Fitzgerald, President ofTheBookReportNetwork.com.

Prior to founding TheBookReportNetwork.com, Fitzgerald spent 17 years at Conde Nast with Mademoiselle magazine. “The core audience at Mademoiselle was twentysomethings, so this site is a return to my roots and I am enjoying the opportunity to interact with this age group once again.”

What You Will Find on 20SomethingReads.com:

Curated Bookshelf Collections --- 20 themed titles perfect for twentysomethings. Now Live: Great International Mysteries, Spring Break Suggested Titles, Cookbooks to Get You Started and Book Club Suggestions. Themed bookshelves will be part of each update.

By the way, the launch on February 29th was intentional. “We chose to launch on this date because it comes once every four years and our plan is that this site stays forever young!” said Fitzgerald.

TheBookReportNetwork.com now offers four demographic sites  --- Bookreporter.com, 20SomethingReads.com, Teenreads.com and Kidsreads.com,  as well as three special interest sites ReadingGroupGuides.com, GraphicNovelReporter.com and FaithfulReader.com.  The backend ofBookreporter.com, 20SomethingReads.com and Teenreads.com  are integrated so that content can be shared across them as appropriate.
