What makes the perfect summer graphic novel? For some, it’s mystery, or action, or suspense, or superheroics, or just the insights of a well-written memoir. For us, it’s a little bit of all those --- and more. We’ve sorted through the offerings from comic publishers big and small to bring you our list of what’s tops this summer, conveniently broken up into five categories: kids, tweens, teens, adult nonfiction and adult fiction.

Some titles are in stores already and others will be be published in the next three months. Thus we have presented the titles in each group by their release date. Throughout the summer we will be adding excerpts, interviews with the creators and reviews so you can explore the books that you want to read. So keep checking back to see more content added to these pages as we get closer to a book’s release date. We've got reading suggestions that don't stop until Labor Day!
