March 16–March 22: Chicago, IL
Open for more than 26 years, Graham Crackers Comics (GCC) is one of the largest comics store chains in North America, with nine locations throughout Illinois.
Three stores are in the Chicagoland area, and the other six are located in the western suburbs of Illinois. GCC concentrates on comics and customer service. You won’t find Sports Cards or Warhammer games, but you will find one of the best selections of back issues and graphic novels around.
Graham Cracker Comics has consistently expanded its operation to try to reach and help create new collectors of his favorite media—comic books! He and his staff try to bend over backwards to please their customers and constantly strive to improve their service and selection. John welcomes all visitors to the store and encourages people from out of town to stop by if they’re in the area. “Let us know how we compared with your favorite store!” he says. “We’d love to hear your criticism…and the compliments…yes, especially the compliments.”
