Robin Brenner is the teen librarian at the Brookline Public Library in Massachusetts. She was the chair of the ALA/YALSA Great Graphic Novels for Teens Selection List Committee in 2008, was a judge for the 2007 Eisner awards, reviews manga for Teenreads.com and anime for Video Librarian, and regularly gives lectures and workshops on graphic novels, manga, and anime. Her guide Understanding Manga and Anime was nominated for a 2008 Eisner Award.  She also hosts a website on graphic novels, noflyingnotights.com, along with two sister sites, Sidekicks, for children through age 12; and the Lair, for older teens and adults.
