William Jones

William Jones graduated from the University of Iowa in 2007. He has been writing most of his life, whether it be slightly offbeat stories for school, homemade birthday cards, covering suburban Chicago happenings for a newspaper, or freelancing pieces on music, movies, video games, and graphic novels. When he’s not writing, he’s usually consuming some form of media. He first got into comics at a young age but fell out of touch with the medium after making a series of poor choices, including the abysmal Maximum Clonage Spider-Man series. He rediscovered them years later through graphic-novel masterpieces like Watchmen.

Jones works as a staff news writer for a weekly newspaper covering government news and doing features. His music writing often appears in AMP magazine, Punkbands.com, and Punknews.org. He has also contributed to Wonka Vision magazine, Skratch magazine, Chicago Innerview, and the Sun Times News Group. He also runs a gaming and comics site at www.padsandpanels.com. It is awesome.
