At last night's Tony Awards, the stage adaptation of Alison Bechdel's contemporary graphic memoir classic, FUN HOME, took home five awards, including Best Musical.
Acclaimed cartoonist and graphic novelist Alison Bechdel was named a fellow by the MacArthur Foundation on Tuesday --- the only graphic novelist of the 21 fellows selected in the 2014 class.
