Every fan of a series like Omamori Himari is, at some point, confounded with one or more questions about unanswered mysteries having to do with the series. Fortunately, however, when a profile book like this one comes out, fans get many problems solved.
 
This volume explains a lot of things about the characters, their personalities, their skills, and their quirks. In the profile section, it even gives the girls’ measurements. We even get a runthrough of the sexiest scenes in the manga, all compressed into a handful of pages. (Some people will love that.)
 
We’ve also got a titillating all-color chapter that takes place at a hot springs resort. This short chapter explores the feelings of the girls, particularly toward one Yuuto Amakawa.
 
Did I mention you’d get some answers to unanswered questions in this volume? Well, you do. Remember that memory of Yuuto’s when he met Kuesu and she had black hair? Well, you’ll find out how she came to have that white hair after that incident, and what made her how she is today, so antisocial and so cynical.
 
Reading through profile books isn’t always as fun as the usual books, but when the books are put together just right, as this one is, it will have some of everything.
