It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks starting with the massive success of New York Comic Con (more than 130,000 were in attendance, as reported by ICV2), making it as big as San Diego Comic-Con. That's a pretty amazing feat, all things considered, and the team who put NYCC together every year deserve a huge rally of "Bravos" for improving the show each year. It ran smoothly, for the most part, for all attendees. I confess that the "checking out" process when you wanted to leave was a little annoying for me, but why quibble? Especially because I understand why the additional "tapping out" step is needed at a huge show like that.
